What you’ll be doing

You will:
• Serve as the central point of contact for all questions relating to German corporate and trade tax.
• Prepare and review tax returns, assess structuring options, and contribute to strategic tax planning.
• Strengthen the organisation’s tax compliance framework, introducing smarter processes and supporting automation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Lead and deliver training sessions on German income tax topics to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with tax authorities, manage inquiries, and support audits and tax reporting activities.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual financial statements, including tax reporting and deferred tax calculations.

Your expertise will shape how a complex international business navigates national tax requirements with accuracy, transparency, and innovation.

What you bring

You’re someone who enjoys translating complex tax regulations into practical, value-adding solutions.
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Law with a focus on taxation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate taxation, ideally within an international company or a leading tax/audit firm.
• Successfully passed the Steuerberater exam.
• Strong practical understanding of deferred taxes.
• Confident using DATEV and MS Office.
• A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for tax work.
