Senior Tax Manager – Real Estate Transactions (f/m/d)

Senior Tax Manager – Real Estate Transactions (f/m/d) Location: Munich, Germany – Hybrid A role that inspires you Some professionals work with numbers. Others shape what those numbers mean. As Senior Tax Manager, you’ll advise on complex real estate transactions within global multi-tier structures for one of Europe’s most influential investment platforms. From acquisition to exit, you’ll engineer tax solutions that balance efficiency, compliance, and reputation — ensuring every deal stands up to both financial and ethical scrutiny. This is a role for someone who thrives on detail yet sees the bigger picture — a trusted advisor where precision meets strategy. What you’ll be doing You’ll be the go-to expert for cross-border real estate tax matters throughout the transaction and holding phases. • Provide comprehensive tax support for “buy and sell” transactions within complex international structures. • Review and critically evaluate external tax advisers’ due diligence findings. • Design tax-efficient structures that protect investor interests and reputation. • Negotiate and assert robust positions in contracts (SPAs, side letters) while offering pragmatic solutions to disputes. • Apply and interpret post-tax IRR models to assess deal impacts. • Coordinate the tax handover to Accounting, Investor, and internal teams for seamless execution. • Ensure ongoing tax compliance and documentation for investment entities and investors. • Identify and mitigate tax risks in coordination with Group Centers. • Monitor tax law developments and drive restructuring initiatives where necessary. Your judgement will influence multi-million-euro decisions and shape how international capital flows into real assets. What you bring You’re a strategic thinker with a lawyer’s precision and an advisor’s instinct for value. • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Law; qualification as German Tax Adviser (Steuerberater) preferred. • 4–7 years of experience in tax advisory, corporate tax departments, or tax authorities. • Deep understanding of German and international tax law, with a focus on real estate. • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. • Fluent in German and English. • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and impact. You combine technical expertise with commercial intuition — the rare blend that turns advice into advantage. What’s on offer • Hybrid working flexibility in a dynamic, international setting. • Structured onboarding, mentoring, and continuous learning through global programmes. • Competitive compensation, pension schemes, and well-being initiatives. • A culture of collaboration, inclusion, and excellence — where your expertise shapes the future of real estate investment. About the opportunity This position is being managed exclusively by MAM Gruppe, a specialist recruitment partner connecting world-class professionals with leading organisations across Germany. All applications are handled with the strictest confidentiality.
