Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel Location: Dusseldorf Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to support a growing portfolio of commercial and technology-driven business activities. In this role, you will advise on a broad range of contractual, regulatory, and strategic matters, working closely with cross-functional teams in an international environment. You will take ownership of legal topics and help shape new products and business models. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary legal contact for our group companies and business units, with a focus on energy. Draft and negotiate national and international commercial, supply, and distribution agreements. Review and negotiate SaaS and other technology-related contracts. Provide legal guidance for new product launches and commercial initiatives. Support market entry activities and coordinate with external legal advisers. Develop legal structuring options for emerging business areas. Advise on strategic and cross-functional projects. Manage legal matters independently and proactively. Your Profile: Fully qualified German lawyer (Zweites Staatsexamen), ideally with strong academic results. Experience in commercial, regulatory, or technology-related legal topics is an advantage; motivated graduates are welcome. Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with interest in commercial topics. Collaborative approach and ability to work confidently across departments. Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities independently. Business-fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus.
