Information Security Officer Location: North Rhine-Westphalia Join a dynamic international team shaping the future of advanced analytics platforms. Our client is looking for a talented Information Security Officer to lead security and compliance efforts across cutting-edge cloud environments. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to safeguard critical data and drive security excellence. What You’ll Do: Lead and enhance security governance within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytics environment. Provide expert advice on risk management, information security concepts, and cloud architectures including GCP, Azure, and on-premises systems. Assess technical risks and ensure alignment with enterprise security standards. Guide vulnerability management efforts, security assessments, and control implementations. Support cloud security projects, including migrations to GCP and strengthening Azure infrastructure. Influence architecture and deployment reviews to meet stringent security requirements. Apply your knowledge of Kubernetes, SSDLC, and container security to inform key technical decisions. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years’ experience in security architecture; Kubernetes security and SSDLC expertise is a strong plus. Proven experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP or Azure. Deep understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and BSI standards. Skilled in threat modelling, vulnerability management, and cloud-native security strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse international teams.
