Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimise, and maintain a central data platform leveraging cloud and data mesh principles.

  • Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and design scalable data models.

  • Work in agile, cross-functional squads alongside data experts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

  • Use tools such as Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Python to deliver high-quality, efficient data solutions.

  • Champion modern development practices including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.

  • Drive innovation and take ownership within a flat, collaborative team structure.

Your Profile

  • 1+ years’ experience in data engineering with a degree in computer science, informatics, or related field.

  • Proficient with cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake.

  • Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with dbt is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts such as Data Vault 2.0 and bitemporal modelling.

  • AWS experience preferred; Azure or GCP also accepted.

  • Familiarity with DataOps and software engineering best practices.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Fluent in German.
