As a Data Engineer, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to build scalable data products that drive real business impact in a flexible and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimise, and maintain a central data platform leveraging cloud and data mesh principles. Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and design scalable data models. Work in agile, cross-functional squads alongside data experts, engineers, and business stakeholders. Use tools such as Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Python to deliver high-quality, efficient data solutions. Champion modern development practices including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD. Drive innovation and take ownership within a flat, collaborative team structure. Your Profile 1+ years’ experience in data engineering with a degree in computer science, informatics, or related field. Proficient with cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake. Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with dbt is a plus. Solid understanding of data modelling concepts such as Data Vault 2.0 and bitemporal modelling. AWS experience preferred; Azure or GCP also accepted. Familiarity with DataOps and software engineering best practices. Strong analytical and communication skills. Fluent in German.
