Your Profile 1+ years’ experience in data engineering with a degree in computer science, informatics, or related field. Proficient with cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake. Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with dbt is a plus. Solid understanding of data modelling concepts such as Data Vault 2.0 and bitemporal modelling. AWS experience preferred; Azure or GCP also accepted. Familiarity with DataOps and software engineering best practices. Strong analytical and communication skills. Fluent in German. Our client is looking for a talented Information Security Officer to lead security and compliance efforts across cutting-edge cloud environments. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to safeguard critical data and drive security excellence. What You’ll Do: Lead and enhance security governance within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytics environment. Provide expert advice on risk management, information security concepts, and cloud architectures including GCP, Azure, and on-premises systems. Assess technical risks and ensure alignment with enterprise security standards. Guide vulnerability management efforts, security assessments, and control implementations. Support cloud security projects, including migrations to GCP and strengthening Azure infrastructure. Influence architecture and deployment reviews to meet stringent security requirements. Apply your knowledge of Kubernetes, SSDLC, and container security to inform key technical decisions. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years’ experience in security architecture; Kubernetes security and SSDLC expertise is a strong plus. Proven experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP or Azure. Deep understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and BSI standards.
