A role that inspires you
At the heart of every successful business is financial clarity — and in this role, you’ll be the one defining it.
As Team Lead Group Accounting, you’ll guide a team responsible for the consolidation and reporting of one of Germany’s most trusted and innovative family-owned enterprises. You’ll bring structure to complexity, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency across a growing international group that supplies millions of customers with the tools they need to build, create, and innovate.
You won’t just report the numbers — you’ll shape the story behind them.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of group-wide accounting standards and lead the transition toward future-ready reporting.
• Manage and ensure the consolidation of financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Develop and implement group-wide accounting policies and guidelines.
• Act as the key contact for subsidiaries and external auditors on all accounting matters.
• Lead strategic finance projects — including the upcoming IFRS implementation.
• Support the introduction and optimisation of new consolidation software.
• Lead, develop, and empower a team of skilled group accountants.
Your leadership will ensure the numbers not only add up — but stand up to scrutiny.
What you bring
You’re a natural organiser and communicator who thrives in complex financial landscapes.
• Degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with a focus on accounting, controlling, or auditing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in group accounting or audit, with proven leadership capability.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and HGB accounting principles.
• Familiarity with consolidation software (CCH Tagetik, LucaNet, or similar); SAP experience a plus.
• Structured, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1); strong German language skills (C1) preferred.
You lead with precision, communicate with confidence, and elevate those around you.
What’s on offer
• The opportunity to join a family-run company that combines stability with innovation.
• A collaborative, modern finance environment committed to continuous improvement.
• Flexible hybrid working and a healthy work-life balance.
• A culture built on trust, sustainability, and long-term success.
