We’re looking for a Corporate M&A Tax Consultant who thrives at the intersection of complex deals, cross-border collaboration, and strategic tax advisory. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in guiding high-profile M&A projects and ensuring smart, compliant, and forward-looking tax decisions across the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive M&A and corporate projects – act as a trusted advisor to national and international subsidiaries on acquisitions, sales, and restructurings.

  • Lead tax transaction structuring – advise on deal design, implementation, and strategic tax optimization.

  • Ensure corporate tax compliance – shape and harmonize tax practices across the group.

  • Guide post-merger integrations & audits – manage tax integration processes and support during audits.

  • Assess and negotiate tax clauses – provide expertise in contract reviews, litigation, and transactional tax matters.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in economics, finance, or law – ideally with a focus on taxation.

  • Several years of experience in national and international corporate tax law, with exposure to M&A transactions.

  • A Steuerberater certification (or equivalent qualification).

  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to simplify complex topics.

  • A proactive, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Fluency in German and English.
