About the Role
International Tax Manager
Location: Frankfurt

Join an internationally active group as International Tax Manager, acting as a key partner for global financing, M&A, and restructuring projects. In this role, you will shape cross-border tax structures, support strategic transactions, and contribute to the continuous development of tax governance within a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary tax contact for international financing, M&A, and restructuring projects.

Develop tax-efficient structures for cross-border transactions and support tax ruling processes.

Lead tax optimisation initiatives, particularly in financing structures.

Monitor international tax law developments and coordinate external advisors.

Manage foreign tax audits and support domestic audit processes.

Advise on transfer pricing matters and support related documentation.

Contribute to the Tax Compliance Management System and deliver tax training.

Support reporting requirements and prepare management briefings.

Handle ongoing tax queries and review relevant documentation.

Develop and enhance internal tax processes and guidelines.
Your Profile:

Degree in law, economics, or a related discipline.
-
Several years of experience in an international corporate tax function or a large advisory firm.

Completed Tax Advisor qualification or equivalent (e.g. CPA, Wirtschaftsprüfer, or fully qualified lawyer with tax focus).

Strong expertise in German and international tax law.

Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Analytical, structured, and independent working style with high commitment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Fluent English skills.
