Compliance Manager
Location: Munich

Our client is looking for a proactive Compliance Manager to strengthen their governance and regulatory frameworks while driving efficiency and promoting a culture of integrity across the organisation. About the Role

As Compliance Manager, you will help ensure adherence to internal and external regulations, contribute to the implementation of compliance systems, and foster awareness throughout the business. Working closely with stakeholders across functions, you’ll support governance, risk, and privacy initiatives that underpin sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the integration of new entities into the organisation’s compliance framework.

  • Contribute to the rollout and maintenance of compliance IT systems.

  • Prepare clear and accurate reports and documentation for management and regulators.

  • Promote compliance awareness through training and internal communication.

  • Execute control activities (e.g. KYC) and assist in risk and control testing.

  • Collaborate with Legal on change management and governance documentation.

  • Support audits, data privacy processes, and Privacy Impact Assessments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or Law (MBA advantageous).

  • At least 3 years’ experience in compliance, legal, or related areas.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks; asset management background is a plus.

  • Experience with control testing and compliance systems preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.

  • Fluent in English; German skills beneficial.
