Cloud Security Architect Location: Frankfurt Our client is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to support the development and governance of secure cloud architectures within a regulated environment. This role focuses on cloud security strategy, architecture governance and secure-by-design principles across hybrid and cloud-based platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and further develop cloud security architectures across Azure, Microsoft 365 and GCP environments. Define security standards, policies and architecture principles for cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Advise IT, DevOps and business teams on secure cloud solutions and Zero Trust concepts. Support IAM and access governance initiatives across cloud platforms. Conduct cloud risk assessments, threat modelling and architecture reviews. Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements. Collaborate with architecture, risk, compliance and security teams on governance initiatives. Support incident response, logging and cloud monitoring concepts. Develop reusable cloud security patterns and architecture guidelines. Translate security architecture principles into practical controls and implementation standards. Your Profile: Degree in IT, Cyber Security or a related field. Several years of experience within cloud security architecture. Strong knowledge of Azure or GCP, as well as Microsoft 365 Security. Experience with cloud IAM, network security, encryption and SIEM/SOAR concepts. Understanding of security frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST or CSA CCM.
