About the Role
Senior Tax Reporting Manager
Location: Nuremberg
Location: Nuremberg
Responsible for group-wide tax reporting and compliance, with a focus on Pillar 2 minimum tax, country-by-country reporting, and international tax projects. The role coordinates complex reporting processes across domestic and international entities and supports tax-related financial disclosures and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with minimum tax (Pillar 2) regulations and country-by-country reporting requirements (statutory and public).
- Manage and coordinate Pillar 2 reporting processes across group entities.
- Prepare and submit minimum tax returns and reports for the ultimate parent entity and relevant jurisdictions.
- Support international entities with minimum tax reporting where no local agreements apply.
- Analyse, prepare, and validate data for Pillar 2 and income tax reporting.
- Calculate minimum tax liabilities, provisions, and subgroup compensation obligations.
- Maintain and further develop tax reporting tools, processes, and master data.
- Oversee tax disclosures in periodic, consolidated, and subgroup financial statements.
- Prepare statutory and public country-by-country reports.
- Support consolidation and income tax reporting processes.
- Contribute to the implementation and operation of a tax compliance management system.
- Perform system testing and deliver internal training.
- Participate in tax-related projects and process improvements.
Requirements:
- University degree in tax law, international accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of experience in tax reporting, international taxation, or accounting.
- Tax advisor qualification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and consolidation systems (e.g. SEM-BCS).
- Fluent German and very good English skills.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- High level of independence and ownership.
- Strong numerical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
