Senior Regulatory Legal Counsel 
Location: Berlin

Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support regulatory, commercial, and fund-related legal matters within an international investment environment. This role offers broad exposure to cross-border legal and regulatory topics, with close collaboration across business, product, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on regulatory and commercial legal matters across international operations.
  • Support fund-related and cross-border projects involving regulated investment services.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, outsourcing arrangements, and technology-related contracts.
  • Provide legal guidance on data protection, regulatory compliance, and operational governance topics.
  • Support the development and optimisation of legal and contract management processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organisation.

Your Profile:

  • Fully qualified German lawyer with several years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in regulatory, commercial, and contract law within an international environment.
  • Experience with regulated investment, financial, or cross-border service activities is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing, technology, and data protection topics.
  • Structured, commercially minded, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
