About the Role
Director Employment Law
Location: Berlin (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a Director Employment Law to lead employment law matters across multiple European jurisdictions within an international and fast-paced business environment. This role combines strategic legal advisory, stakeholder management, and operational support across a broad range of employment-related topics.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise management and business teams on complex employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Support employment-related projects, disputes, investigations, and negotiations.

Provide guidance on employment policies, workforce structures, and regulatory developments.

Manage relationships with external legal counsel and coordinate cross-border legal matters.

Support interactions with authorities, courts, and employee representative bodies where required.

Contribute to the development and optimisation of legal processes and documentation standards.

Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organisation.

Collaborate closely with HR, leadership, and other internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
Your Profile:

Fully qualified German lawyer with extensive employment law experience in international environments.

Strong expertise in individual and collective employment law matters.

Experience advising senior stakeholders in dynamic and fast-paced organisations.

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and commercially minded working style.

Ability to manage complex and cross-functional legal matters independently.

Fluent German and English skills.
