About the Role
Senior Controller - Shareholding & Investment Controlling
Location: Remote (Germany)
This role provides financial oversight of investments, shareholdings and transformation initiatives within a large healthcare group. You will partner closely with senior leadership to support disciplined capital allocation and long-term strategic change across hospitals, real estate and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Steer and monitor CapEx programmes, including construction, IT, MedTech and infrastructure investments, ensuring governance compliance.
- Support acquisitions, divestments and restructurings across the full investment lifecycle.
- Build and review investment cases, DCF and scenario models; prepare materials for executive decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance of healthcare and hospital participations within regulated environments.
- Deliver economic and lifecycle analyses of hospital real estate portfolios.
- Control public funding and transformation programmes, ensuring compliant use and reporting.
- Act as a finance partner to strategy, M&A, real estate and operating entities.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar.
- Several years’ experience in investment or group controlling, ideally in healthcare or capital-intensive sectors.
- Strong investment appraisal, CapEx and financial statement expertise.
- Experience with public funding and regulated environments is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ERP/BI experience (e.g. SAP).
- Analytical, structured and confident working with senior stakeholders.
