Group Compliance Officer (Interim) Belgium (HQ) · Global Remit · Freelance / Interim Our client, an established international industrial technology group headquartered in Belgium, is looking for an interim Compliance Officer to lead its Compliance Management System across the entire global organisation. This is a senior, strategic role with real authority and a genuinely broad remit — spanning more than 30 legal entities across multiple geographies. About the Role Reporting to the local President and functionally to the Group Chief Compliance Officer, you will lead the Compliance team and take ownership of adapting, implementing, and continuously improving the Compliance Management System across the group. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, manage a team of Compliance Managers and Ambassadors, and hold budget, signature, and financial transaction approval authority. The simulations you build will quantify revenue impact under different assumptions, and the people making the decision will act on what you show them. You'll define the integration strategy for SuccessFactors, Ariba and SAP Analytics Cloud, making sure data moves between systems securely and reliably. You'll translate business requirements into solutions that actually scale, using standard configuration and best practice rather than workarounds. You'll provide architectural governance through blueprinting, implementation, testing and cutover, and act as the go-to technical and functional advisor for project teams, developers and functional leads.
