Manager Consumer Finance
Location: Munich

Our client is seeking a Manager Consumer Finance to drive and enhance consumer financing solutions across the German market. Working in a dynamic multichannel retail environment, the role collaborates closely with Sales, Category Management, IT, and Marketing to deliver a seamless financing experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Business Owner for Consumer Finance in Germany.
  • Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for consumer finance products.
  • Lead tenders, contract negotiations, and competitive analyses.
  • Optimise the end-to-end customer journey and define IT requirements.
  • Manage and further develop the financing portfolio with existing partners.
  • Oversee budget planning, business case modelling, and performance tracking.

Profile:

  • Several years of experience in consumer finance.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with IT requirements management and implementation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high numerical affinity.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Well-organised, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
  • Empathetic, collaborative, and able to build trust.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
