Join a central Compliance & Data Protection function within an internationally active organisation as a Legal Counsel - Data Protection. In this role, you will take responsibility for advising on data protection matters, further developing compliance structures, and ensuring legally sound processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise internal departments on the implementation of data protection requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance and data protection policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain and further develop the internal data protection management system.
  • Monitor legal developments, case law, and regulatory guidance, assessing their impact on the organisation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate data protection-related contracts and clauses.
  • Conduct and update risk analyses and develop risk mitigation measures with specialist departments.
  • Prepare reports for management and liaise with supervisory authorities.
  • Deliver training sessions and raise awareness on compliance and data protection topics.

Your Profile:

  • Fully qualified lawyer, ideally with the Second State Examination; admission as in-house counsel is possible.
  • Initial professional experience in data protection, IT law, or risk management.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Strong analytical skills and confident, assertive manner.
  • High level of integrity, team spirit, and openness to new topics.
  • Excellent German and English skills.

The role offers broad exposure to contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters within an international business environment. Key Responsibilities: Independently advise on day-to-day business and project-related legal matters. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, particularly supplier and customer contracts.
