About the Role

Senior Legal Counsel - Competition Law
Location: Hamburg

Our client is seeking a Senior Competition Lawyer to advise on a broad range of antitrust and regulatory matters. In this role, you will act as a key legal partner to the business, supporting complex projects and ensuring compliant, commercially sound decision-making across a dynamic operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on German and EU competition law across business activities.
  • Manage and support merger control processes and regulatory filings.
  • Handle investigations, including cartel and behavioural matters, and conduct internal reviews.
  • Advise on pricing strategies, distribution models, and dominance-related issues.
  • Support competition litigation and related claims management.
  • Develop and implement competition compliance programmes and training initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to commercial, procurement, and senior leadership teams.

Your Profile:

  • Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist).
  • 3-5 years’ experience in competition or antitrust law, gained in private practice, in-house, or with a regulatory authority.
  • Broad expertise across advisory, merger control, and investigations.
  • Strong understanding of German and EU competition law frameworks.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to translate legal risk into practical guidance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent German and English skills.

Senior Legal Counsel Location: Stockholm, Sweden Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to act as a trusted legal advisor to a diverse, multi-entity business with both local and international operations. You will support commercial activity and operational functions by delivering pragmatic, business-focused legal advice across a broad range of matters.
