About the Role

Senior Accountant

The Opportunity

If you're ready to move beyond a single-entity finance function and take real ownership across multiple international entities, this is worth a read.

You'll join the finance team of a global, multi-entity business, working across both local GAAP (HGB) and US GAAP. It's a hands-on role covering the full accounting cycle, not just a slice of it, from month-end close through to statutory and regulatory reporting.

The Role

  • Own month-end close, journal postings and reporting under both US GAAP and HGB
  • Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment runs and travel expense coding
  • Handle VAT filings via Elster, plus secondary tax filings including excise duty
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and controls in line with SOX compliance
  • Manage fixed asset reporting, accruals and payroll and salary bookings
  • Deliver statistical and regulatory reporting, including EU intercompany sales reporting
  • Work closely with FP&A and cross-functional finance teams to improve reporting processes

The Company

Our client is a well-established, internationally operating business with a strong market position and a finance function that spans multiple entities and reporting frameworks. You'll be joining a team where independent ownership is valued: someone who can manage complex accounting issues without needing constant sign-off.

This is a role that offers genuine breadth. You won't be confined to one entity or one reporting standard. You'll work across both local and US GAAP, giving you exposure that's hard to get in a single-market finance team, plus visibility into statutory, tax and regulatory reporting beyond the core accounting cycle.

What You'll Need

  • Qualified accountant status
  • 7 to 12 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational or large company environment
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP (HGB) accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Accounting, Datev or Wincarat
  • Staff management experience

SAP Technical Architect

Senior Technical Architect – Hybrid (Product / Platform)  The Opportunity Can you make a cloud-native product and an SAP core work as one coherent system? That's the problem this role exists to solve. You'll architect the seam between a modern, AI-enabled product built on Node.js and an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud platform landscape, making sure public cloud innovation and the SAP core evolve together rather than drifting apart. The split is roughly 70% cloud-native product architecture, 30% SAP platform architecture, and you'll carry real design authority through the Architecture Board rather than just advising from the sidelines. The Role Design microservices architectures on Node.js using API-first and event-driven patterns Define service boundaries, data flows, multi-tenant capability, and non-functional design: performance, scalability, resilience, cost Architect AI integration within the product, including LLM, RAG and agentic patterns, with a focus on performance and cost optimisation Design the integration layer between cloud-native products and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, using OData, REST, SAP Business Events and Event Mesh Provide architectural guidance for S/4HANA Private Cloud extensions and side-by-side scenarios, enforcing clean core principles Own design governance: HLD, SDD and TDD creation, technical review and sign-off in the Architecture Board The Company You'll be joining a business running a genuinely hybrid technology landscape: a modern, AI-enabled product sitting alongside an established SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud platform. Rather than being boxed into one side of that world, you'll shape architecture across both at once, working at the point where cloud-native engineering and enterprise SAP practice actually meet. The engagement runs as an initial 6-month contract, with an onsite cadence that steps down over time: two to three days a week in the first month, then fortnightly, then monthly. That structure gives you a proper embedding period up front, then real flexibility once you're established. What You'll Need Several years' experience as an architect in cloud-native environments Strong expertise in Node.js, microservices and API architectures Strong understanding of event-driven systems, with experience integrating AI into software products Cloud architecture experience, including containers, orchestration and scaling Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and clean core extension patterns A proven track record integrating cloud-native applications with an ERP core How to Apply Your CV doesn't need to be up to date. SAP FICO Architect

SAP Financial Controller Architect The Opportunity If you're ready to be the go-to architect for Finance and Controlling rather than one voice among many, this is worth a look. You'll take primary ownership of FI/CO and Profitability Analysis architecture across S/4HANA, shaping how the function runs rather than just maintaining it. The Role You'll be the lead architect for Finance, Controlling, and Profitability Analysis functionality across S/4HANA and connected systems. That means: Owning FI/CO modules and sub-modules across General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Costing, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Tax Management Designing reports, interfaces, and enhancements, and writing the technical specs that guide ABAP development Digging into existing processes and data to find where the real improvements are, then building the solutions Working directly with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to see implementations through Taking ownership of localization for newly acquired entities and directing external consultants on localization work That last point matters: this business is actively growing through acquisition, so you'll be the one setting the standard for how new entities get integrated into the SAP landscape, not just following someone else's playbook. The Company Our client is an industry-leading, internationally operating organization running its finance function on S/4HANA. The business is in active growth mode through M&A, which means a steady stream of new localization and integration work landing on your desk, real variety, and visible impact rather than routine maintenance. What You'll Need 5+ years in an SAP FICO Architect or Configuration role In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO: General Ledger and financial consolidation, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Standard/Actual/Activity-Based Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Tax Management Working understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and relevant local legal/statutory requirements How to Apply Your CV doesn't need to be up to date. SAP Solution Architect

SAP Solution Architect The Opportunity If you're an SAP Solution Architect who wants ownership of a full S/4HANA landscape rather than a single slice of it, this is worth a closer look. You'll be the architectural authority across SD, MM, FICO, PP and PM, shaping how the business runs on SAP rather than just keeping it running. This is a $165,000 + bonus role for someone who wants to lead, not just implement. The Role You'll design, document and maintain enterprise-wide SAP architecture across the S/4HANA Private Cloud platform, covering SD, MM, FICO, PP and PM. You'll define the integration strategy for SuccessFactors, Ariba and SAP Analytics Cloud, making sure data moves between systems securely and reliably. You'll translate business requirements into solutions that actually scale, using standard configuration and best practice rather than workarounds. You'll provide architectural governance through blueprinting, implementation, testing and cutover, and act as the go-to technical and functional advisor for project teams, developers and functional leads. You'll guide the interfaces and APIs connecting SAP to third-party systems, and you'll have a direct hand in where the platform goes next: Fiori UX, embedded analytics, machine learning and automation. You'll also lead proofs-of-concept on emerging SAP tools, so you're not just maintaining the roadmap, you're helping write it. The Company You'll join an established, industry-leading organisation running a complex, multi-module SAP environment, supporting business processes across retail, manufacturing and similar operational settings. What You'll Need 8+ years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years as a Solution Architect Hands-on implementation experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA End-to-end process expertise across SD, MM, FICO and PP Experience with cloud-based SAP integrations such as SuccessFactors, Ariba and SAC or similar analytics tools How to Apply Your CV doesn't need to be up to date.
