About the Role
(Senior) Manager International Tax
Location: Frankfurt
A role that inspires you
Join an internationally active group’s Group Tax function, acting as a global tax competence centre supporting complex cross-border activities. In this role, you will advise on international tax matters, support operating units worldwide, and contribute to structuring, financing, and compliance topics within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent tax advice to domestic and international group entities on international tax law.
- Support central and operational units on income tax matters.
- Act as a key tax contact for M&A transactions and international projects.
- Advise on structuring and financing topics in collaboration with internal teams and global subsidiaries.
- Support and coordinate international tax audits and external advisors.
- Contribute to the development of group-wide tax guidelines, processes, and optimisation projects.
- Support valuations and prepare tax calculations for restructurings, IP transfers, and M&A transactions.
- Prepare analyses and decision papers for management.
Your Profile:
- Degree in law, economics, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience in an international corporate tax function or a large tax consultancy/audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of German and international tax law.
- General understanding of transfer pricing in international groups.
- Tax advisor qualification is an advantage.
- Business-fluent English skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a collaborative working style.
- Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration.
