Finance Lead

Finance Lead The Opportunity A hybrid role for someone who wants to run finance operations and modernise them with AI. You'll own core financial processes end-to-end while identifying and building automation for repetitive work - a blend of controller and transformation responsibilities. The Role Identify automation opportunities across finance processes and deploy AI agents to handle repetitive tasks, tracking ROI. Manage customer invoicing and contract review, and maintain the customer database. Track core SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV. Run monthly and annual close. Build board presentations and investor reports. Own COGS calculation, cost allocation logic, and capitalised development costs. Review and approve vendor invoices; manage vendor controlling and procurement liaison. Coordinate payment runs, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting. Handle intercompany invoicing across group entities. What You'll Need 2-4 years in finance advisory, controlling, or business finance - Big 4, consulting, or tech/scale-up backgrounds welcome. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience building financial models and executive decks. Hands-on AI tool experience and genuine interest in automation. Comfort learning new finance software and managing data integrations. Experience preparing board-level communications. Track record managing external stakeholders - auditors, accountants, cross-functional teams. Fluent German and English.
