About the Role

Team Lead AML
Location: Frankfurt am Main

Our client is seeking an experienced AML leader to head up their Global Standards and Domestic Risk Management function. This is a senior compliance role combining strategic framework development with hands-on team leadership in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining global frameworks for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF).
  • Monitoring and analysing regulatory developments across the AML/CTF landscape.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and advisor to internal stakeholders on AML/CTF matters.
  • Collaborating with the wider Financial Crime function on cross-border initiatives.
  • Managing internal and external audit processes related to AML/CTF compliance.
  • Providing operational leadership, including staff development and day-to-day team coordination.

Your Profile:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification, ideally with a background in banking or financial services.
  • Substantial experience in Compliance, Non-Financial Risk, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a regulated environment.
