Platform Architect
Location: Munich

Our client is seeking a Platform Architect to support the evolution of scalable platform and infrastructure solutions within a complex digital environment. This role focuses on architecture governance, platform strategy and cross-functional collaboration across multiple development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and further develop scalable platform and system architectures.
Support architecture governance, technical standards and long-term platform strategy.
Collaborate with engineering and business teams on solution design and implementation.
Contribute to architecture reviews, technical decision-making and development best practices.
Support platform optimisation, integration and modernisation initiatives.
Work closely with development teams on technical guidance and architectural alignment.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across engineering functions.

Your Profile:

Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
Extensive experience within software or platform architecture environments.
Strong understanding of modern software architecture and system design principles.
Experience with cloud technologies, container platforms and distributed systems.
Knowledge of technologies such as Java, Spring, Kubernetes or modern database environments.
Familiarity with architecture methodologies and modelling approaches.
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English language skills; German would be advantageous.
