Senior IT System Architect

Senior IT Security Architect The Opportunity Are you ready to own a security architecture strategy from the ground up, not just execute someone else's plan? This role gives you the mandate to define and drive infrastructure security strategy over the next two to three years. You'll sit at the intersection of Infrastructure, IT Security, Management and the CISO function, turning strategic direction into real technical projects rather than sitting in theory. The Role Develop and improve security architecture across IT infrastructure Define security standards, requirements and technical measures for infrastructure environments Own and drive the strategic security roadmap Assess and secure cloud, on-premise, network, server and endpoint infrastructure Translate security requirements into technical projects, architectures and processes Evaluate new technologies and assess their suitability from a security perspective Build and improve security processes, including automation, monitoring and incident prioritisation Support the ISO 27001 certification process Act as the technical point of contact for infrastructure security during audits and assessments Work closely with Infrastructure, IT, Management and the CISO or security organisation The Company You'll be joining a large, complex enterprise environment where infrastructure security has genuine strategic weight, not just a compliance checkbox. What You'll Need 5+ years of experience in IT security within a large, complex enterprise environment Strong infrastructure security background, covering several of: network, server, endpoint, cloud or on-premise environments Practical experience with ISO 27001 Understanding of SIEM, security incident management and security automation Experience translating security requirements into technical solutions and architecture How to Apply Your CV doesn't need to be up to date. This role gives you the opposite: a modern, well-governed global firewall landscape, and the mandate to keep improving it. You'll join the network security team of an internationally operating technology group whose infrastructure underpins security-critical systems for major institutions worldwide. It's a stable, long-established business with a strong market position, now investing further in its global network security capability.
