The Role Own the month-end close, with bookkeeping under IFRS and German GAAP in SAP Steer the year end, from statutory accounts and supporting files through to the audit Deliver monthly reporting to local leadership and the parent group, including commentary on revenue development Prepare the financial content for board meetings Manage cash and liquidity across bank accounts, cards and petty cash Run billing and collections, and coordinate supplier payments with a shared service team Calculate and invoice intercompany recharges Work closely with group accounting and controlling, external auditors and customers Find better ways of working and put them into practice That breadth is rare. You'll own the tax side of every deal, from the first structuring conversation to long after closing. You design the structure, negotiate the tax positions yourself, then stay with the portfolio to keep it compliant and efficient. The Role You'll advise on buy-side and sell-side transactions involving layered, cross-border structures. Day to day, that means: Designing tax-efficient structures that also protect investor reputation Reviewing external due diligence reports and challenging findings that don't hold up Securing robust tax positions in purchase agreements and side documentation, and finding workable solutions when parties disagree Modelling after-tax returns and feeding them into deal valuations Briefing accounting teams and investors' advisers once deals close Managing compliance and documentation across investment vehicles, including transfer pricing Spotting tax risks early and coordinating mitigation with group functions and outside counsel Leading restructurings and keeping every stakeholder aligned Tracking legislative change and what it means for the portfolio You'll work directly with investors, finance colleagues and external advisers, so your recommendations reach the people making the decisions. You'll take ownership of transfer pricing for an international industrial group with manufacturing operations spanning multiple countries. This isn't a support function tucked inside tax. You'll set the framework that finance, controlling and operational teams across the group's entities work within. The Role Own the group's global transfer pricing framework, from policy design to day-to-day application across manufacturing, contract manufacturing, sales, services and financing activities. Represent the business directly in front of national and international tax authorities, leading audits from start to finish with documentation that stands up to scrutiny. Direct external advisors, tax consultants and economists, on complex engagements and hold them to your standard. Coordinate Master File, Local File and Country-by-Country Reporting across the group's entities. Shape the transfer pricing implications of corporate restructurings, supply chain changes and new business models through functional and risk analysis. Drive the digitisation of transfer pricing processes, choosing and implementing the tools and data infrastructure that replace manual work. Keep the group's transfer pricing policy current as OECD guidance and German tax law evolve. The Company Our client is an internationally operating industrial group with a significant manufacturing footprint across multiple countries. Its supply chain spans production, contract manufacturing, sales and financing activities, which makes transfer pricing a genuinely central function rather than a compliance afterthought. You'll work closely with finance, controlling and operational teams across its international entities, with direct visibility into how transfer pricing decisions shape the wider business. What You'll Need Fluent German and English. A degree in business administration, economics, finance or law. Experience defending transfer pricing positions in tax audits.
