About the Role

Compliance Lead
Location: Stuttgart

Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to develop and manage a group-wide compliance management system across domestic and international subsidiaries. This role involves leading a compliance team, driving risk mitigation, and serving as the key contact for all compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop and implement the compliance management system across the group.
  • Build and lead a high-performing compliance team and optimise compliance processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on compliance issues.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments, define mitigation actions, and design cross-functional risk monitoring processes, including AI tool utilisation.
  • Manage whistleblower reports and lead internal investigations in coordination with Legal, HR, and Internal Audit.
  • Prepare management reports, support audits and certifications.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in law, economics, or equivalent, with several years of relevant compliance experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing group-wide compliance systems and core components.
  • Experience in building or transforming compliance functions and teams.
  • Analytical, structured, and proactive work style with strong decision-preparation skills and follow-through.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels with clear, solution-focused dialogue.
  • Fluent in German and English.
