(Senior) Controller Operations The Opportunity This is a plant controlling role with genuine influence: the person in this role will act as a business partner to plant management, with their analysis directly informing decisions on cost, capacity and investment at the site, rather than producing reports that sit unread. The Role Own operations controlling for a production site, including cost and efficiency analysis and KPI reporting for both plant and headquarters. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports for the entity. Build and manage budgets, forecasts and medium-term planning for the site. Run variance analyses across materials, personnel, manufacturing and cost centre costs, and turn findings into concrete action. Calculate and maintain machine hour rates, surcharge and billing rates, and prepare the annual cost calculation. Ensure correct cost allocation and inventory valuation. Manage assets and working capital, and identify measures to optimise liquidity. Identify efficiency gains and cost drivers across the plant. Help shape the site's controlling processes and tools going forward. Work closely with production, quality and logistics teams, with visibility across the whole site. What You'll Need Around 5+ years of experience in operations or plant controlling. A solid understanding of production processes. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, calculation and inventory valuation. Good working knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, and very strong Excel skills. Finance Lead The Opportunity A hybrid role for someone who wants to run finance operations and modernise them with AI. You'll own core financial processes end-to-end while identifying and building automation for repetitive work - a blend of controller and transformation responsibilities. The Role Identify automation opportunities across finance processes and deploy AI agents to handle repetitive tasks, tracking ROI. Manage customer invoicing and contract review, and maintain the customer database. Track core SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV. Run monthly and annual close. Build board presentations and investor reports. Own COGS calculation, cost allocation logic, and capitalised development costs. Review and approve vendor invoices; manage vendor controlling and procurement liaison. Coordinate payment runs, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting. Handle intercompany invoicing across group entities. What You'll Need 2-4 years in finance advisory, controlling, or business finance - Big 4, consulting, or tech/scale-up backgrounds welcome. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience building financial models and executive decks. Hands-on AI tool experience and genuine interest in automation. Comfort learning new finance software and managing data integrations. Experience preparing board-level communications.
