About the Role

(Senior) Manager Risk Management

The Opportunity

Most risk management roles keep you reporting on risks other people have already decided how to handle. This one puts you in charge of the framework itself. You'd shape how an internationally operating industrial group identifies, assesses and manages risk at group level, with a direct line into senior stakeholders across the business.

The Role

You'd take ownership of developing and enhancing the group's integrated risk management system, making sure risks are caught early and assessed strategically rather than after the fact. Part of the brief is keeping the group's risk-bearing capacity aligned with both business targets and regulatory demands, including newer requirements like CSRD, ESG reporting and the EU taxonomy.

You'd set up and run a group-wide risk committee, from content and agenda through to following up on actions, and act as the go-to contact for functions including Internal Audit, Compliance, HSEQ, IT and Legal on anything risk-related. External risk reporting for the annual financial statement also sits with you.

The Company

You'd join a well-established, internationally operating industrial services group with a substantial presence across Europe, North America and the Middle East, serving process industry clients. The company offers flexible and mobile working arrangements, a company pension scheme, and a generous holiday allowance well above the standard German minimum.

What You'll Need

  • A degree in economics, business law, industrial engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years' experience in risk management, ideally at a publicly listed international industrial company
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as IFRS, CSRD and IDW PS 340
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken

(Senior) Compliance Officer

(Senior) Compliance Officer If you're ready to stop just flagging compliance risks and start actually owning how they get solved, this is the role for that. The Opportunity You'll shape the compliance management system itself, not just operate within it. That means staying ahead of new regulatory developments and emerging topics, and acting as the go-to technical advisor for an international compliance network. You'll be trusted to identify and assess compliance risk, vet business partners on ethics and anti-bribery grounds, and run the whistleblower system including internal investigations. This is a central, cross-departmental role: you'll be the interface that makes sure compliance is actually built into how other teams work, not bolted on afterwards. The Role Contribute to the design and ongoing development of the compliance management system Act as technical contact and advisor for an international compliance network Develop tailored compliance guidelines and deliver training to raise awareness Identify, analyse and assess compliance risks Vet business partners, with particular focus on business ethics and anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC) Manage the whistleblower system and support internal investigations Act as central interface to ensure compliance requirements are embedded across departments The Company You'd be joining a well-regarded, internationally operating business with a strong technical and engineering focus. The compliance function here has real influence, with direct access to an international network and the mandate to shape policy rather than just enforce it. What You'll Need Several years of professional experience implementing and developing an international compliance management system Solid knowledge of anti-corruption, business partner due diligence, and antitrust law Confident communication and persuasion skills across all levels of seniority A pragmatic, risk-based and process-oriented approach Fluent German and English How To Apply Get in touch with the team at MAM Gruppe for a confidential conversation.
