SAP SD Consultant

The Opportunity

If your SD experience stretches beyond standard units of measure, this freelance contract will put it to use.

You'll join a global manufacturing group as they run their first S/4HANA rollout, configuring Order to Cash for a business that sells in sheet goods, linear metres, and panel-based units rather than simple pieces or kilos.

Start: September. Initial term: 12 months, with strong scope for extension. Capacity: 100%, hybrid.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the full Order to Cash cycle:

Sales order processing, pricing, delivery, and billing configuration
Variable units of measure across sheet goods, linear metres, and panel-based sales units
Standard, template-based configuration across multiple plants and companies

You'll work closely with the FICO consultant to keep data flowing cleanly from sales through to finance, and take the lead on transferring your knowledge to the in-house SD team as they run their first S/4 rollout.

Our client is a global manufacturing business running its first S/4HANA implementation across multiple plants and companies. Its products are sold in non-standard units, which makes this a rare chance to configure SD around real-world complexity rather than a textbook template.

What You'll Need

10+ years of SAP SD experience
S/4HANA experience
Comfortable working within a standard, template-driven implementation rather than a heavily customised environment
Fluent in English and German
