About the Role
Regional Information Security Officer
Location: Prague, Czech Republic or Istanbul, Türkiye
The Opportunity
Security policy is easy to write at head office. Making it work across different countries, cultures and business units is the hard part. If that is the challenge you enjoy, this role puts you right in the middle of it.
You'll be the link between a global Information Security function and the regional business, turning group-wide standards into controls that actually hold up on the ground. You won't just be implementing someone else's framework. You'll shape how it lands across multiple countries.
It's also a rare role where your Turkish, Arabic and English aren't a nice-to-have. They're the reason you'll be effective from day one, building trust with stakeholders that most security leads simply can't reach.
The Role
Working onsite, you'll partner with global teams across Information Security, IT, Risk and Compliance, and act as the go-to security contact for regional business leaders.
- Drive the implementation of the global Information Security strategy across the region
- Act as the key Information Security contact for regional and international stakeholders
- Develop and embed governance, policies, standards and controls
- Lead and coordinate Information Security risk assessments, and agree practical mitigation measures with the business
- Support ISMS activities and the continuous improvement of security processes
- Monitor compliance with internal security requirements and recognised industry standards
- Support audits and assessments
- Build security awareness and a strong security culture across the region
The Company
You'll be joining a large international organisation with an established, global Information Security function. That means mature frameworks and experienced global peers to work alongside, rather than building everything from scratch on your own.
At the same time, a regional remit gives you the visibility, variety and ownership that is hard to find in a purely central team. You'll see how security decisions play out across different markets, and you'll be the person who makes them work.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in Information Security governance, risk and compliance
- Hands-on experience conducting security risk assessments and supporting an ISMS aligned to recognised standards such as ISO 27001
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple countries or business units
- Fluent Turkish, Arabic and English
- Willingness to work fully onsite
