About the Role

Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading European HR software company, recognised as an innovation leader in cloud-based human resources management across the private and public sectors.

You will join a small, agile finance team, taking ownership of core accounting functions and contributing to strategic projects within a high-growth, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full accounting services and profit centre reporting for subsidiaries across the group
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Active participation in strategic digitalisation projects, including ownership of sub-projects
  • Creation of ad-hoc analyses and reporting
  • Contribution to special projects as required

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Business Administration or a commercial qualification with further training in finance
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); basic IFRS knowledge is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Independent, solution-oriented working style with strong team and service orientation
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for complex, structured problem-solving
